Moments in Time....

Seeing and Meeting My Muse is Pure Ecstasy to the Senses..It feels Wonderful. Can't really say How Good it Feels..The Sheer Pleasure to see Him all Enthusiastic and Dynamic simply Stops Time....Not the Prince of Persia..but a Self proclaimed 'Prince' none the less..This is to a Very Special Friend..My Muse....

This one's called Moments in Time....

We meet again,
It has been weeks.
Sharing time and conversations,
I'm Living a Dream..
and Dreams are Illusive,
So are YOU.
Yet Time Stops.
Yet Again..
I'm Mesmerized.
I Breathe in You,
Taking You in.
All of You..
The Mirth in your Eyes,
The Contagious Enthusiasm in your Voice,
The Dynamism of your Persona,
The Passion and Drive,
Everything More Magnetic by the Second.
And Yet to Part..
Agonizing, Confusing.
Have to go,
I Really Must.
A Handshake won't do,
A Bare, Consuming Hug,
Like a Potion for Life.
I Have You Now, My Friend,
Like a Cocoon of Warmth and Reassurance,
That melts and Reaches to the Core.
It is Easier now to Survive,
Until We Meet Again....

THE CONCEPT OF MUSE....

The concept of Muse,

The way it captures the imagination,
Too difficult to fathom,
Too easy to jump to conclusions.

Not an infatuation,
Nothing so immature,
Ordinary or momentary,
No longings and sudden disappearances.

A constant wealth of emotions,
Caring beyond measure,
Affection beyond doubts,
No names possible to explain this.

A selfless wish for his success,
No motive for captivity,
An inspiration for creativity,
Truly necessary for life.

BEYOND THE VERY ORDINARY,
MAKING A HUGE DIFFERENCE,
SO VERY SPECIAL,
MY MUSE!!

Suicide

The sheer futility of existence,
A meaningless life,

No one who cares,
No one to care for.

A loveless monotony,

Devoid of genuine affection,

No friends, no family, no love,

No one to understand the depth.

A life that faces scorn and bitterness,
A life scalded by insults and sarcasm,
A life humiliated for difference and non conformity,
A life that is beautiful and yet not enough.

So much pain and sadness,
So carefully masked and concealed,
A life that is sought after and yet,
A life no one can see through.

A smile that hides a wealth of tears,

Some shed, some guarded by esteem,
Casual banter and meaningless talk,

Veiling the intensity of the hurt.

Contemplating suicide is tempting enough,

Luring into a faceless trap,

A promise to set you free,

An introduction to finality.

Yet suicide is not really an option,

Not when a part of you,

Dies everyday, hour and second,

Not when you celebrate that death.

A numbness within,

A cold cruelty,

Wishing myself to die,

And feel death consuming me gradually....

Musing....

For my muse again..
Its called
'Musing'....

A sigh escapes my lips,
so much perfection,
too much to handle..

The sculpted angles,
the defiant structure,
a seductive foreboding..

What would it be like:
to kiss away the indifference?
to surrender to the interest?
to give in to the ultimate..

Would you be burning in my arms?
or make me quiver for your touch?
would we be meeting fire for fire?

Or would it be the perfect blend of souls,
where I know not for sure,
WHERE 'YOU' END AND 'I' BEGIN....

Awe Naturale..

This one is about NATURE that WAS, NATURE that IS and NATURE that CAN BE and the Relationship between Man and Nature....

AWE NATURÁLE

Standing across the mountains,

Watching the playful cascade,

Listening to its music,

Feeling the air purge the soul.

The myriad swirl of flowers,

Colours filling up the senses.

The buzzing of the bees,

Like Nature’s incantations to The Divine.

The heady nonchalance of the birds,

Branding the sky with freedom.

The ultimate diversity of the fauna,

Enticing, enthralling and yet soothing.

But now the river cascades no more,

It sings a sorrowful song.

Of the ruthlessness of its transformation,

And tales of times that are long gone.

Now there are tears of pain,

Both invisible and seen.

Battered and bruised, Nature endures,

More torment from one of her own.

When Darwin said Survival of the Fittest,

Had he truly meant –

Pollution, Deforestation,

Technological Misuse and Barbaric Wars?

Can her greatest creation not perceive,

The ethereal beauty of Nature?

And her role in maintaining –

The Ecological Balance and The Circle of Life?

Blinded by hubris,

Dizzy with ambition.

Man punishes Nature.. and then,

Nature disciplines her prodigal creation.

It is time to introspect,

Time to learn and move away.

Into a simple, real yet superior world,

Where “green” rules the day.

No eco destructive mechanisms,

No heavy price to pay.

No mindless competition,

No violence, come what may.

Nature is indeed magnificent,

And a powerful driving force.

This acknowledgment, awe and respect may harbour,

Mutual sustainability in due course.
