HER PRINCE WONDERS....
We two talked of love, the world and much more
Together we sat on the sands salty ocean seashore
I felt an urge drive me, to ask her for her name
Yet my words were ever held back time, time again
A magical thing she was, much beauty one of awe
Her myth and magic radiates appeal and much more
Legends are made from her being, songs and words
She′s rarely seen but to the oceans fish or it′s birds
Sitting there, aside of me, we were chatting about life
A desire longing to ask her, if she′d be my Wife
Appeal and desire to have her, grew incredibly strong
Sensing she′d make me happy, my entire life along
I gave her a locket..of the finest silver fair..
An intimate promise from my weary soul
She stared at me with blue eyed wonder
then lost herself in the blues
Waves beat the shore, mesmerised adrift in her potion
Her love and serene beauty were in tune with the ocean
I reached for her hand, yet she slipped into the sea
Leaving me there alone, waving her goodbye to me
Emotions crammed in, relaying we two were made
But I couldn′t have this oceans beautiful mermaid
This was but a dream, the stuff of legends you see
Alone in my fantasy, without my mermaid I′ll be
HIS MERMAID PONDERS....
I float beneath the surface
without need of harsh air
sun-flecks flutter downwards, lost in blue
I breathe the water: oxygen reddens my blood
redder than coral
shoals of fish dart and twist in bright chorus
slow creatures nestle and forage among
dark boulders where weeds
fan out like flukes
waving softly as
my hair
I pause
feel the silver locket
bump gently at my breast
dive back, head over tail like the dolphins....
