Wrote this one on 18th September 2008 as a prelude to all my poems for my muse....my poetic inspiration....Don't know what struck a chord so deep inside me as to enable me to write but anyway....here goes..
Maybe I am depressed,
The birds chirp for someone else,
The day warms the lives
of everyone but for me.
Am I to be HAPPY?
I dwell so deep within myself,
That i have never seen
the light of day.
The past never happened,
the future will never come
and the present isn't real.
Happiness lies near,
But my mind wont let
My heart reach for it....
Happiness NEVER KNEW,
I LIVE IN A PRISON,
SOLITARY CONFINEMENT....
My AURA - My GUARD,
My DEFENCE - My MYSTERY....
How do you break through
Invisible Walls?
What is it like to touch something
You've Never Had?
I AM CONFINED TO MYSELF....
JUST ME AND MY REAL SELF........
