A queer choice of mine they say - Elusive and Dark,
Unholy, Cowardly, Lowly and Saddening.
I like a life for me to be way too stark,
And for Death to be loving me in ways beyond maddening.
Why not court Life instead they ask, almost too appalled,
Don't I get charmed by its enormous fancies to skip and hop.
Truly not a lot to look forward to since I've seen it all,
Death is Catharsis - Different, Final, The End and The Full Stop.
